Governance

The Independent Cities Finance Authority is a joint powers authority, governed by a board of elected officials (mostly city council members) from around the state of California.

Our mission is to improve the lives of citizens by funding vital municipal projects. To achieve this goal, we hold monthly, open-to-the-public meetings  in which we hear proposals for funding projects. The board votes on proposals, and funding is allocated accordingly.

It is our belief that transparency is a vital part of trust.
