St. John the Baptist School Receives Donation from ICFA

In December 2012, ICFA donated $5,000 to St. John the Baptist School in Costa Mesa.

The school was opened in 1952 as a parish school of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and it is staffed by the Sisters of the Love of God. It continues to carry on a tradition of “Faith, Community and Education.” The money donated to the school will assist lower income families with tuition assistance.

“We are grateful to ICFA for their donation,” said Sr. Rosario Mediavilla, Principal at St. John the Baptist School. “The community that has grown up around our parish is a vital part of our success as an institution.”

“We are so happy to be able make this contribution to the families of St. John the Baptist School,” said ICFA program administrator Debbie Smith. “Our organization has, over the past few years, begun issuing bonds in support of education and this donation is very much in line with our mission to help cities achieve their goals of providing better lives to all their residents.”

The recipients of  ICFA’s charitable donations are chosen by the organizatio’s board members. For more information, please contact our program administrator, Debbie Smith.
